Holy gorgeous, Batman! Your home!
We have been actively farm shopping for three years now, and working towards this major life goal for far, far longer than that. During our search, we have found places that were lovely, that were exciting, that would be perfect for us if only one or two things were different. If we could feasibly make any changes we wanted, we made offers and crossed our fingers. Obviously none of the other places were the place we've been looking for, as we are still out here looking.
Your beautiful home is the first place where, as soon as we entered, we felt... home. Comfortable and cozy. I can see where all of our furniture would fit and wouldn't want to change a thing!
The kitchen is gorgeous - the colors and that ceiling! There's so much more space than where we currently live, and that GARDEN is incredible, as is the perfect little barn with the chicken coop!
Outside is every bit as lovely and enticing as your home itself, and it's obvious that you've put an incredible amount of work and love into the place. As people who have owned raw land in the past and worked on clearing and maintaining trails, we understand just how labor intensive that is. Kudos to your amazing job well done.
As we walked through some of the trails, our 10 year old daughter was instantly inspired by what she deemed as haunted old buildings and things like the car in the woods. A born artist, she has decided to create characters inspired by the things she saw and to create back stories, or lore, about them all, whether this works out or not. So thank you for that! I've wanted to put fun, random doors out in the woods of our future place for some time and your woods already have a wonderful, almost magical feel to them that would be an excellent match! We were imagining inviting friends out for haunted trails around Halloween as we walked and talked.
I was also imagining taking my kids trail riding around the property, as my greatest passion is, and always has been, horses. The lifelong dream of living with my horse at home is the main reason we keep looking for a place we can put roots down in the countryside, despite the difficulty with the current housing market. I'm trained as an equine specialist in equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning, and a long term goal of mine is to start a small mental health business with my horses. Your amazing, peaceful home would be an ideal space for many to heal, my own heart included.
I could go on and on about how much I love your home, but I'm afraid this is already too long and I do want to be aware of your time and energy. We are all impressed with your place and would absolutely cherish the opportunity to make it our forever home.
Whatever you decide, we wish you the best in your own future journey and thank you for considering our offer.
Best wishes,
Sarah Quetico
